Going To A Halloween Party? Here's The Perfect Halloween Gift To Bring Your Hosts: A Bottle Of Vampire Wine
If you're going to attend a Halloween Party this year, be sure to blow your host away with this Halloween Gift. If you're having your own Halloween party, then be sure to create this "functional" Halloween decoration: Vampire Wine Labels. Your guest will know you've "thought of everything!" Halloween in about entertainment and entertaining. This is pure fun if not pure pun! No matter which Halloween camp you are in (a Halloween Horror "Haunter" or a G-rated funny Halloween funster) you'll enjoy this Halloween idea. You'll have left "no stone unturned" for your Halloween Display or offerings! No Halloween food should go served without this Halloween drink! Let's get started on this Halloween accessory that you simply must have!
Only once did I see this in a Halloween store. The labels they offered were horrible (and not in a good way.) It looked like someone used a word processor, and their was no imagination nor creativity in the writing (labeling.) You can do much better with this Halloween project. Whether you use our free pre-made labels (see the resource box) or make your own, I suggest not paying for something that you can actually make for next-to-free and do so much better. The most obvious is to put these on red wine bottles (as they are like blood), but you can do both red and white. For the younger crowd, use those bottles of sparkling grape juice (or regular grape juice.) This is designed to be a funny Halloween trick, not gruesome or horrible.
For a vintage Halloween (especially if you're good at calligraphy) you can hand-make these. Just get some fancy paper to do it on. If you know how to use a graphic arts program on the computer, you can do it that way. Of course, most of us don;t have the time even if we have the talent to put towards and Halloween Projects or Halloween ideas. It's enough to get the trick-or-treat candy ready. So, we offer a load of free free pre-made labels for your downloading pleasure. Hunt them down through the resource box below.
For those of you die-hards out there that will make your own labels from scratch, we want to give you a little inspiration for the labels. (Something the Halloween Stores' labels do not have! I don't know how they missed such obvious, cool Halloween puns!) Here's the inspiration: Capillary Sauvignon, Count Icabod's Veinyards, or Bloodeaux. And for the white: Blood Blanc!
Choose your Halloween wine labels. Feel free to use several different labels. The more labels, the more entertainment for the guests!
Whether you hand make these, print ours, or print your own, you'll need to choose paper. For quick-and-easy, pick up a pack of self-adhesive ink-jet paper at the office store. If you want to get more fancy on the paper, use spray glue (spray mount) to paste the labels to the bottles. I like the 3M spray adhesive. Be sure to spray that stuff outside and place the labels face down on something you can toss out. The spray glue really works-- it sticks to everything!--even your hands! Be careful not to get glue on your fingers. It's harmless but annoying!
Copy and print shops offer many many different styles of paper than you can purchase by the sheet. Ask for help. They usually have a binder full of samples to use for invitations and such. You might choose different colors or even paper with texture!
For you non-hand-made label makers, print your labels on an ink-jet (or other color) printer. When everyone is ready with their labels: Cut them out, and spray glue them on. I am bloody excited about this Halloween idea. This is one to use year after year!
