Thousands of people want to become the next Neytiri or Jake Sully with extravagant Halloween costumes this year. The Avatar has become an epic classic within a few weeks. There probably wasn't a single person to leave a theatre earlier when this 3d masterpiece was running. Incredible sceneries, interesting story, unique characters, top notch CGI special effects leave you speechless. Probably millions of boys and girls, men and women will be on their way surprising neighbors with gorgeous Neytiri princess or tough Jake Sully outfits. Are you a hardcore fan? Then I have a few simple ideas for you too.

Create Your Avatar Outfit

One of the ideas is to create a costume yourself. I know, it takes time and effort, but you can become one of the main characters while staying at home. And to have a nice outfit, you'll need a couple things:

Makeup - That's right. If you want to look similar to the Na'vi (blue-skin aliens) or the princess Neytiri, then you have to cover every inch of your body and leave no empty spots. For this, you'll need a simple blue makeup color. You can get a kit from your local store, online or from one of our partners at Halloween shop.

Costume - You can make your own costume or you can buy a tight blue costume at the local store. Either way, make sure it's tight on your body to resemble the Neytiri's body. In Jake Sully's case, you just need a shirt and pants, so it's much simpler for men.

Accessories - This is where you can experiment. You can get a wig, ears to look more like the aliens, spears, tails and anything your imagination suggests. This part often times separates so-so costumes from the really original and great looking outfits.

Buy a Costume Online

Majority of folks just buy one. Sure, why waste hours upon hours behind the sewing machine when you can order an outfit with a click of a button? Just a little note, if you're going to order accessories then you should know that some costumes are already sold with wigs or spears and you don't need to get them separately. So that's all you need and no additional accessories are required for boys. Maybe except a nice gun, they always love those right :)
